Why make A Booga Bear?
BOOGA BEAR (R) – is an original cross carried out at Bedlam Original between two selections from seed of FitzMary (Bedlam Orig.) and Punch Drunk Ape (Elev8). FitzMary is easily one the favorite originals here at Bedlam for its knockdown power. It was a no brainer that I would make a cross with a selected FitzMary male to a couple keepers from the latest mini-hunt (2022). Only two crosses (Punch Dunk Ape & FitzMary #2) was made with that particular FitzMary male. Punch Drunk Ape brought some serious genetics to the table between the legendary parent genetics of GG4 & Purple Punch this cross with Fitzmary is sure to hit on all cylinders!
Genetic Background.
Purple Punch has loud grape terpenes and carries a ridiculously frosty layer of trichomes over the buds. Grapes and gas, and tons of frost dominates the flowers from the cross with Gorilla Glue #4. The Punch Drunk Ape does an excellent job at pulling the best qualities from both strains.

Fitzmary (R) – is an original cross carried out by Bedlam Original of Red Velvet Tart (BredBy42) x Truffle Knock Out (BeLeaf). Fitz brings some serious funk & stickiness to her with respectable yields. The nose is heavy on the earthy, truffle, and pine with slight sweet gassy notes.
Growth Of Booga Bear.
Booga Bear is a vigorous cultivar and responds well to being multi topped. The flowers tend to be dense and heavy towards the end of flower. Please ensure good air flow and staking/adding a trellis is recommended for support.
Booga Bear is high in trichome coverage. The flavor profile is definitely earthy-gas leaning in most phenotypes. Some defoliation is recommended in early flower and late flower but the bud to leaf ratio is decent for Booga Bear.
This plant is easy to work with. It grows out evenly and prefers SCROG. The terpenes have a strong aroma. This is a heavy hitting strain. You have to give her a try!
